Farmhouse Style Hard Cider
Like a classic Virginia Farmhouse, Mt. Defiance Cider is Artisan Crafted. Our cider uses the finest quality Virginia apples. Experience our unpasteurized, traditional dry cider.
Strawberry Hard Cider
Our Strawberry Cider is one of our many seasonal flavors. Our seasonal flavors are made in small batches and available for limited parts of the year. Get them while they are on tap or in can!

Meet Our Wines
Skyline Chardonnay - 2024 Vintage
Skyline Chardonnay is a stainless steel, 100% chardonnay. It features green apple, pear, and citrus notes. It’s perfect for a warm Virginia day! We are proud that Skyline has already won Silver at the 2025 Loudoun Wine Awards.
1863 Red Blend - 2023 Vintage
1863 takes us back to the year of the battle of Mt Defiance. These hills that once echoed the footsteps of soldiers, now provide beautiful rolling hills of vineyards. The vintage is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. This blend was aged for 22 months in New French Oak. We love the cherry, smoke and blackberries notes that linger with every sip of 1863. We are proud that it has won GOLD at the 2025 Loudoun Wine Awards and Silver at the 2026 Virginia Governor’s Cup.

Mt Defiance Cidery & Distillery operates a fully functioning cidery and distillery. We create hard cider in small batches which is available to sample at our Barn. Our team is dedicated to producing high-quality ciders, which were popular in the United States throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. We offer a wide variety of ciders from traditional apple to ginger and pepper-infused brews. We’re always producing new flavors, which you can try on tap.
